Lock down

It was an eventful day at school today because we had a lock down. It started about 8:30 and my kids were at PE. They had to come in from PE, they told me they saw HALO flight at the high school. That is where it lands in town. I had heard a rumor that something happened to the local priest, I really didn't believe it. Then one of my students told me they saw the ambulance at Father's house this morning on the way to school.

It was true the local Priest was stabbed multiple times and beaten. The man then ran but was later caught. I heard he ran to his house and told his family what he did. They say he is mentally disturbed, I am not sure if that was determined before this happened or not. Here is one article with the story. Please keep Father Shaji in your prayers!!

Last travel weekend

Well Cole and I (and the dogs) went to New Braunfels this weekend for the last weekend I am suppose to travel before we have a baby. Cole and his dad play in a golf tournament every year. I love walking the course with them because there are always deer ( and they are awesome golfers), but this year I had to ride in the golf cart.

Today at school we had to sign our contracts for next year and I am now OFFICIALLY GOING TO BE A STAY AT HOME MOM. I decided to go ahead and tell them I would not be returning. They were very supportive and told me that I was making a great choice and I would be missed very much. When I am ready to go back -to let them know.

Our field trip was cancelled because of the Swine Flu. There is no travel outside the district until May 11. I am concerned because I have so many kids that visit Mexico all the time and now they are sick. Do they go to the Dr----NO! How are we suppose to stop this if people are not staying home when they are sick. Now I am sending every kid that coughs to the nurse. We sent a letter home that said if your child has any signs you will have to come pick them up.

I am 34 weeks-- it is getting really close and really HOT!

Her room is ready

There isnt much more we can do to her room. We just have small things to put away. I need to make room in my kitchen for her bottles, bowls, and things like that.

After 2 showers

I have been working in Kaley's room since we got home from Dallas. I am washing everything, hanging clothes, and putting up toys. We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family. Here is what her room looked like after two showers. You cant tell but there is stuff stacked in her bed as well. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR EVERYTHING!!!! I will put up another picture when I finish organizing it.

Everything is Growing

8 weeks left....

My stomach is getting bigger - I think that it gets bigger everyday.

Cole has been working on a garden with squash, cucumbers, peppers, cantaloupe, and zucchini. We cant wait to be able to eat something from it.

I have been trying to get the roses outside our house to grow. Last year we did not get one rose. This year I trimmed them way back and was afraid that I had cut them too much but we have roses. I have been using epson salt and I think that it is working.

Easter weekend

We had a busy weekend in Dallas over Easter. We had another baby shower and we also went to our good friends wedding shower. I had a blast at my baby shower - thank you all for everything!!! Here are just a few pictures.

31 weeks

I had a great time at the Beaumont shower - I cant believe all the things we received, we are so blessed. Thank you all for everything.

I had another Dr appointment today and it was suppose to be with a different Dr but she had an emergency so I only saw the nurse. I keep gaining weight..... total weight gain 31 lbs and very embarrassed to say. The nurse said it was ok. She said my Dr is the strictest in the office with weight gain. She also said I needed to spend more time relaxing because of my swollen feet.

I am looking forward to Dallas this weekend.
