update...

The garden is growing great. We also found a baby rabbit. We really wanted to bring it in the house and keep it as a pet but decided that wasnt the best idea.

almost

Here is a video where you can see we are almost done laying the tile, it still needs grout. Kaley can almost walk. She is getting a little more motivated but she is usually in a hurry and crawling is just faster.

almost 1....

Kaley and I have been very busy. We started going to stroller strides. ( If you have a stroller strides in your area and you are a mommy, you should look into it.) It is a fantastic workout and you get to hang out with other moms. I think the rules are your child has to stay in the stroller. Basically we walk/jog the park stopping to do reps of different arm and leg workouts.

Kaley also had her first year pictures made. She did really good. In the middle of pictures is a good time to play peek a boo especially when you have on a fun new dress.

This is the way Kaley says more. I am so proud of her.

All Done

Here is Kaley Rose showing All Done. She doesn't do it perfect ( it looks like milk) but that is what she means. She doesn't say it in this video.

A Trip to Beaumont..... by Kaley Rose

We went to Beaumont this weekend because my Daddy went on a retreat. I was sad that he was going to be gone for the weekend but I stayed entertained by cousins, aunts, uncles, and Grana and Mom M. First I showed Mom M and Grana how to use my table.
The next night we went over to Mom M's house for dinner. Mom M's computer isn't working so Jillian and I worked very hard to try to fix it.
Then a bunch of boys came over. I really enjoyed watching them but didn't really want to play with them. Cousin Blake was sure that I would want to play with him. I wasn't so sure.
Then the girls came and I was so glad to see them. I played with Elizabeth.
I love Katharine, I love her so much that I gave her a couple hugs.
Then Uncle Chris showed me an elephant and even taught me that the word elephant has a funny ph in it that will confuse me when I get a little older.
I had a few more pictures taken and then everyone went home.
The next day Aunt Claire, Uncle Don, Paige, and Kate came over. I showed the girls my toys. We had so much fun.
The next day Daddy and Grandaddy came home. I was so glad to see them both. I am glad they had fun but I missed them.
I met so many people this weekend at church. It was very nice to meet everyone and hope to see you again soon.

11 months

One more month and my BABY is a year old. How does time go by so fast?

Kaley keeps us laughing all the time. She laughs when others laugh and has a new crinkled nose face that I think is very cute.

Kaley waves Hi and Bye and can say "Hi". She knows the sign for "all done" (and it sounds like she says it) and she uses it appropriately too. Yesterday she was in her jump up (while we were laying tile) and she was doing the sign for all done over and over. I couldnt leave her in there because she was doing it so good. So... we didnt get ANY tile laid. I am pretty sure she mastered the sign for more today, asking for more spaghetti and lunch. She gives hugs when you ask her for a big big hug. She says "mmmmmmm" after she takes a bite of food. Kaley is not walking yet. Every time I try to practice with her she giggles the whole time. She loves to eat mac and cheese, peas and carrots, cheese, and I know there are more but those are pretty much her favorites right now because she can feed them to herself. She is finally letting me feed her again. She went through a little phase where she HAD to do it. I am also working on weening her.
