San Antonio zoo

Sunday after the wedding we went to the zoo. We were very tired but I had been wanting to take Kaley. We didn't have the dogs with us so it worked great to stop on the way home. She loves animals. She can name a lot of the animals and when she isn't sure the name if it has 4 legs she calls it a horse.

We had so much fun at the celebration of Roy and Bekka. They are such a sweet, and happy couple. I was so glad to be a part of there big day.

I just went to use the restroom and saw a little snake on Kaley's pink potty. I have never screamed so loud and ran out of the room. I went back in because I realized if I didnt kill it I would have to worry about it being in the house. I put on Coles boots and stomped on it as hard as I could. Now I am paranoid that there are more. We are remodedeling our bathroom so I guess it got in that way. After I killed it, I scooped in bucket and carried to garage. So it isnt that big,but it is still really scary.

unnecessary haicut...

This was an unplanned event. I was getting my haircut and telling the hairdresser that Kaleys hair was not growing. We decided that if we tip the ends it might help. She was unsure about the situation and it didnt help that it happen right before naptime. She started in the chair but got sad so I held her. She was fine once she was in my lap.

Trains...

Kaley rode 2 trains in one weekend. We went to Beaumont because Daddy played in a golf tournament. So we went to the Rice Festival and Kaley rode her first ride with Grandad. It was a train.She played games,saw tractors,and enjoyed the nice weather.We spent some time at Mom M's house and Kaley found all the toys.

We had to leave town early Sunday to make it home for our church Czechfest. They were giving train rides and so Kaley had her second train ride. Mommy rode with her this time.

16 months

Kaley Rose is a talker. She repeats everything. She can say all her farm animals and recognizes most of them too. She loves to sing songs and DANCE. She dances to any music that she hears. She would rather put the crayons in and out of the box instead of color with them. She loves babies and books. She sits on her potty and pretends to go (she even wipes), it wont be long until I am potty training her. At her 15 month check up she weighed 20 lbs and was in the 17th percentile in weight and the 60th percentile in height.
