new laptop

I bought a new laptop today so as soon as I can get pictures on computer I will be blogging more often. I had to get a new computer because all the grandparents couldnt skype with Kaley.

Baby #2

Update on Baby #2 - I haven't gained as much weight as I did with Kaley so that is a good start, heartbeat was 142 today. I have been a lot more nauseated than I was with Kaley and I am 15 weeks and still get it occasionally. We find out April 21 if it is a boy or girl. Anyone want to make a guess? I have no idea and it doesnt matter if I did because I thought Kaley was a boy.

Sesame Street Live

In February we went to see Elmo and his friends. Kaley loved it(as you can see from her face). She went with some friends. Her favorite friend is our neighbor Kyndall who she calls Baby Kyndall (she is in the picture).

On the morning of the show as I was getting dressed Kaley walked in to my room and said " cute mommy". She thought my shirt was cute. Now I go to her for fashion advice since my sister lives so far away.

a lot has happened...

We have had a lot going on lately (and it hasn't been good). It started out with my Aunt and Uncle's house burning down. Since it happened they have moved in to a rent house while their house is being rebuilt. Then my mom slipped on the ice and broke her wrist. She ended up having surgery. We went to Dallas to visit and help her out for a while. Kaley got sick while we were there. When we got home she still had fever. We were about to walk out the door to go to the Dr when Kaley had another febrile seizure. It was just as scary this time. I called 911 because she went limp in my arms and I couldn't feel her breathing. When they got here she was doing better. They said her breathing was just really shallow and their muscles are really tired after a seizure so they sleep. We went to the Dr and they couldn't find a cause for the three day fever. The Dr sent us to Children's Hospital to have more tests done. We were there all day and they said it was viral. When we got home that night we found out my great grandmother was in the hospital. We tried to leave the next day but Kaley was too sick. Finally on Sunday we drove to Amarillo. It was a very long trip with a sick baby. We got to Amarillo and my Nannie passed away 2 minutes before we got there. I was really upset about not being there but realize it wasnt meant to be. My great grandmother " Nannie" passed away on March 13. She turned 102 on March 12. Her and my sister share a birthday. On their birthday, Nannie didnt feel good but the morning she passed away they exchanged birthday wishes and had birthday cake. She passed very peacefully and I know she is in a better place. She wasnt sick at all until the last few days of her life. Nannie lived every day of her 102 years.
Sorry for such a depressing blog.
