Kaley Rose update

33 months- oh my!
Kaley is really enjoying her role as a big sister. She has grown up so much since Cade was born. I haven't been doing as many updates on her and that makes me very sad.

Kaley Rose you are so stinkin smart you surprise me every single day.
- You know all the letters of the alphabet and can identify them. The other day I went to your room and you were matching the letters on your blocks to the letters on your rug.
You can count up to 12 objects. You know your whole name, city and state, birthday, how old you are and are going to be on your next birthday. You love to sing songs. You use a new word everyday. You vocabulary is amazing.
-You absolutely love books. We read 3 books to you every night and before nap. Plus we read throughout the day. Your favorite book right now is "Pinkalicious". I guess "Fancy Nancy" is on hold for a while.
-You are getting so tall and your hair is getting longer. When I get your dressed in the morning you like to help decide what to wear. You always ask for a bow in your hair.
-You love to play outside, running, jumping, swinging, playing in the sandbox, writing with chalk or riding your cars. You have a bunch of imaginary friends but you love "elephant and turtle". You carry them in your hands and they go just about everywhere with us. You love having tea parties, playing with babies, dressing up like a princess. You love playing in your kitchen and your favorite thing to serve is cupcakes. (If you have read "Pinkalicious" you will know why.) You are all girl but still love to get dirty.
- You say things to me like. "mom, did you buy me this shirt, wow I really love it. Its great." The other day we had a conversation after you had gone to the potty that went like this Me: Kaley I am so proud of you for going to the potty. Kaley: Thanks mom I couldn't have done it without you.
- You were potty trained right after Christmas.
- You are still a very picky eater.
- You are so sweet you say sorry about anything and you thank us for everything.
I know there are so many things I am forgetting to say about Kaley. She is wonderful. I will start updating on her more often because she is truely unbelievable. I was so scared I wasn't going to do as much for Cade.

6 month baby

Thank you Cade for being such a happy loving baby.
15 lbs 14 oz 20th percentile,
27 1/4in, 76th percentile
- You sit up by yourself, falling if you reach too far and cant get back up. But you think you are big stuff sitting next to Kaley playing with a toy.
- You still use rolling as your way of getting around but you are real fast at it now.
- You are breastfed about 7 times a day. You have also tried sweet potato and apples. I think that oatmeal is still you favorite.
-You sleep from about 7:30pm - 6:30am but you wake up once to eat at about 3am. You usually take a morning nap about 10. The second nap of the day is not really on a schedule.
- You are a busy boy hanging out with mom and Kaley all day. You love to go to kindermusik with us(not that you have a choice). You act like you are part of the class, laughing with all the other kids.
- I love watching you and Kaley play. You are starting to grab her toys and it makes her so mad. If she whines you just smile at her. You are sensitive to her feelings too because if she cries you cry too.
We love you so much. Those sweet dimples and big ears melt my heart.

Sesame Street Live

We went to Sesame Street Live again and it was really good this year. Kaley was so excited and Cade enjoyed it too. We had great seats because we were at the front row of the second section. We had room for our legs and the kids could get up and dance. The characters came up and danced right in front of us a few times.
