A day at the beach...

with mammaw and all the seagulls. Kaley loved the beach this trip but not the water or the sand she loved the birds. Once I started feeding the birds and got them closer she was so happy. She wanted to touch them. I had to keep feeding the birds so they would stay close to us because she was willing to chase them as far as they wanted to go.




Obviously this trip was a few weeks ago because we are going to wash away this weekend with all the rain we have been getting.

Go TECH

Here is Kaley getting ready for the Tech vs Texas game. We were going to go hang out with all the alumni here but it was raining too hard. So we are all dressed up and staying home. She is wearing the dress I made her. It isn't perfect but I am learning and having fun doing it. She can wear anything and look cute(obviously that is a mom comment).
Daddy has been working on the bathroom all day. We are remodeling slowly but he is doing a wonderful job, cant wait to be able to post finished product. It has been raining here for 2 days and we are ready to play outside.

15 months

Kaley is over 15 months now and says a new word every day, that I can understand. Todays word was Charm, our dog. She loves to read books and play with her baby. She wants to be outside all the time even when it is so hot. I cant begin to describe everything she does because there is so much. I cant believe how much she has changed and everything that she has learned.

Here is a link to a video of what Cole does at work. He said the company that Halliburton was working for made it to show their investors. Cole is a host in the video. I thought it was neat because I have never been to a location to see what he does.

Lace and Camo

Kaley is getting ready for hunting season just like everyone else. I made this dress from an old tshirt of mine. She wont stand still long enough for me to get a good pic with her wearing the dress.

Sailboat races...

We went to the sailboat races tonight. They have it every Wed night in Corpus and it is just an unofficial race. We got very distracted and didnt even take a pic of the sailboats because we saw this as we drove on the marina.

Beach Bums

Daddy caught a 29 in Red when we took Kaley out on the boat.
We went to the beach house this weekend. It is at Crystal beach and this is the first time we have been there to enjoy it since Hurricane Ike destroyed it (and by destroyed, I mean left nothing). It is beautiful! It is so fun to go there and be with so much family. Mom M


Oh yea, I wrote in Mom Ms journal that we caught 4 specs and 8 sand trout the last day. It was actually 5 specs, here is the picture to prove it.

Kaley is not sure about sharing her baby stroller with the boys. They thought it was for racing.
