Big trip to Dallas

After Kaley's Baptism we went to Dallas for the week. We were really busy seeing friends and hanging out with Gigi and Auntie Haley.

One the way we stopped in New Braunfels to visit Mammaw and Pappaw for a little bit.

Then Kaley met Katie and Avery. Katie and Avery were both in our wedding except Avery was still growing in the belly. Avery was very sweet with Kaley.

We went to dinner with a bunch of friends, Kaley was a little fussy that night but I had a wonderful time.

She also met Cohen who is only 4 days younger than her. She wasnt too happy in this picture but she gets over it.

This is Cohen, Noah ( Allison's Boys), Will (mom's friend), and Kaley.

Preston (Haley's boyfriend )and Kaley

Dr. Rachel had lunch with us.

Haley and Kaley posing for the camera.

Cousin Niki spent two nights with us.

Dinner with the Hoopers, Brennen and Jordan after they played golf.

Saying good bye to Gigi. This was after we got all ready for church and Kaley was in a great mood. She was just talking and smiling in the pew and all of a sudden she threw up so much. It went everywhere all over the seat and floor. It was in her hair and ears, down her car seat. Fortunately we only live across the street so mom and Haley walked her home to give her a bath. She was fine after that. Sorry I don't have a picture (haha).
We had a blast - cant wait to go back. Love everyone!

Baptized

Kaley Rose was Baptized Aug. 16, 2009 at St. Thomas Catholic Church. She was such a good girl. She even smiled as Father Michael put the water on her head. She was awake and looking around the whole time. The first picture is her getting dressed in the Bride's room.

Haley and Brant are Kaley's Godparents.

2 Months

Kaley Rose is 2 months now. She went from the 2oth percentile when she was born to the 50th percentile at 2 months. She weighs 10 lbs 14 oz. She did very good getting her shots, I think Mommy was more scared. The Dr. was running way behind because of all the kids getting ready for school, so we were very tired after our 1 hour 45 minute trip at the Dr. She is so much fun always smiling and talking. She doesnt sleep through the night but she has a pretty good routine waking up about 3:00am to eat and then goes right back to sleep. She gets up every morning about 7:00 no matter what time she goes to bed. We have been walking and she really enjoys it, sometimes she looks around and sometimes she sleeps.

She is growing so fast!

This weekend we had more visitors. It is so nice to have company in town. We went to the beach ( of course) and Kaley put her toes in the water this time. She sits in her chair now and holds her head up really good. We took the baptism class so she will be baptized Aug. 16 and then we will be making the trip to Dallas to see friends.

8 weeks

Kaley Rose loves talking to her Daddy. She smiles at him all the time. When she hears his voice she gets excited. She is growing so much. Aug 3 is her 2 month checkup and I cant wait to find out how much she weighs. She can wear all her clothes now. We like to change a few times a day just to get all the outfits worn( and she spits up on them). She was not baptized yet because we werent able to do it then. Our next date is Aug. 16 ( I hope it happens).

Busy little girl

This week Aunt Haley came to visit again. We had so much fun. We went back to the beach. Kaley is becoming a regular beach bum. We also went to the Valley to visit Grandpa Mickey and Great Grandma Nielsen. My dad fell down about two weeks ago and hurt is foot and had surgery on his wrist. He is doing better. It was our first trip without Daddy- he had to work so we went without him. Kaley also turned 7 weeks this week. She is growing so fast. She is a great baby.
