8 weeks

Kaley Rose loves talking to her Daddy. She smiles at him all the time. When she hears his voice she gets excited. She is growing so much. Aug 3 is her 2 month checkup and I cant wait to find out how much she weighs. She can wear all her clothes now. We like to change a few times a day just to get all the outfits worn( and she spits up on them). She was not baptized yet because we werent able to do it then. Our next date is Aug. 16 ( I hope it happens).

Busy little girl

This week Aunt Haley came to visit again. We had so much fun. We went back to the beach. Kaley is becoming a regular beach bum. We also went to the Valley to visit Grandpa Mickey and Great Grandma Nielsen. My dad fell down about two weeks ago and hurt is foot and had surgery on his wrist. He is doing better. It was our first trip without Daddy- he had to work so we went without him. Kaley also turned 7 weeks this week. She is growing so fast. She is a great baby.

First road trip

Kaley took her first road trip this weekend. We went to New Braunfels to visit Mammaw and Pappaw and family. Kaley had so much fun meeting and being held by her family. She danced with Bekka, slept with Aunt Karon, and got new hats from a great friend. She also laid in bed with Pappaw and had her diaper changed by Mammaw.

One Month

Kaley is one month old now. She weighs 8 lbs 14 oz. and is 21 3/4 in. long. She is following sounds with her eyes and smiling. After my last blog, we decided to see how she would sleep in her crib. She slept in her crib last night and did wonderful.

She is going to be baptized July 19 at St. Thomas Catholic Church.

SHHHHH

Well Kaley is doing a little better about sleeping in her bed( pack n play)next to our bed. She has a good night about every other night. The rest of the time she wants to sleep with someone. I cant believe she is already a month old.

Beach

We went to the beach this weekend. Our plan was just to drive the beach and maybe get out and walk for a little bit. We were not planning on staying long because I was afraid it would be too hot for Kaley. I was wrong. We got down there and she was hungry (of course). So I fed her in the back while Cole swam and Haley laid out. It was so much cooler down by the water. Kaley and I sat in the back of the car with a nice breeze. I think that Kaley liked it. Then Kaley and Cole took a little nap.

Auntie Haley

Auntie Haley came to visit this weekend and we had so much fun. We took Kaley to the beach for the first time. She is very sad that Aunt Haley had to go home.
