Dresser

Pictures of the dresser before Cole stained it. We forgot to take pictures until he had already started sanding it.

These are the drawers, one has been sanded and the other has the stain that we bought it with.

Funny Story

Friday at school, a little girl from my class walked back into the room. I said to her, "Where did you go?" (we have a no bathroom alone policy right now in the entire school because they are not using the restrooms properly).

little girl: " to the bathroom"
me: "did I tell you that you could go to the bathroom?"
little girl: "yes"
smart boy in my class: "Yes, Mrs. Kuykendall you did tell her that she could go. I know what is happening...... You are starting to forget things.....Don't worry it happened to my mom when she was pregnant with my sister... it will get better again. "

Let me tell you this little boy has 4 brothers and 1 sister that is 5 months old. He is actually really smart and makes me doubt myself all the time. I am just glad that he thinks it will get better --hope he is right!

Working on her room!

Kaley Rose Kuykendall

Well we have been working on getting her room all set up. The painting is all done. Mom M gave us a glider and we LOVE it. We found a dresser and Cole is working on staining it to match her other furniture. (I will put up pictures of the dresser when it is all finished.) Her room is still pretty empty but I am sure that it will fill up fast. I am almost 25 weeks.

Dr. Appointment

Well I did not enjoy my last Dr. appointment because the Dr informed me that I had gained too much weight. She actually asked me if I had a good Valentines with lots of candy. ( actually I did and it was with lots of cookies and cake not candy).

Total weight gain: 20 lbs at 24 weeks ( it is only suppose to be 12 - 13lbs)

I guess I will stop eating sweets, if Cole will stop buying them for me.

Mom came into town and we did some registry stuff today. We registered at Babies r us , and Target. I wanted to register at Walmart but our Walmart doesn't do registries anymore. But I am still going to register online at Walmart because they have lots of stuff.

My Rocking Chair

Well a few weeks ago Cole decided that he wanted to make me a rocking chair - not for the babies room, but for the porch. We were at the beach and he picked up some wood, just because it was there. Later he decided that he was going to make the entire chair from free wood. I think that he has had fun working on the project/puzzle. He doesn't have a pattern or anything, so I think he is doing a great job. It isn't like he has too much free time so he just works on it every once in a while. I cant wait to see the completed project.
