7 months

Well I have been downloading pictures for the Christmas blog but I couldn't wait to post her 7 month picture so I am going out of order.

7 month

Kaley is not crawling but she can lean way over and sit herself back up. She has gotten on her knees a few times but then rolls over. She is eating lots of different foods now. I am not sure what her favorite is because I will start to think she really likes something and she will clamp her jaw closed and not let me feed her it anymore. She really likes to jump in her jumper now instead of just hanging out in it. She is constantly waving her hands like she is saying bye bye. Kaley is a talker- her favorite is dadadadaddadadadad. She loves to laugh. ( Excuse her outfit in the video. It is cold outside- so we went comfy and I just made her new bow so we had to try it on even though nothing matches).

Christmas...

We had four Christmas' this year. It started in Amarillo two weeks before Christmas. Then we had Christmas at our house with my parents and sister.

On Christmas day we went to Beaumont to be with all of Cole's family.

Then we went to Dallas to see our oldest and best friends!

We also celebrated my 27th birthday! wow I am getting old. .

Our last Christmas was in New Braunfels

Wildlife Ranch

Over Thanksgiving, we all piled into Uncle Marks van and went to the Wildlife Ranch. It was so much fun. Kaley enjoyed the animals too. Her favorite was the Zebra named Zee. Zee has even written her a postcard inviting her back to the ranch.

She was in the 40th percentile now.

Kaley has started to eat solids. She has tried sweet potatoes so far and loves them. She also sucks on apples in her little muchkin fresh food thingy.

She sits up and grabs everything from our hands. She likes to listen to music, watch her dogs play, and sleep with mom and dad. Cole and I said we would never let her sleep with us... but when it is 2 in the morning and you have tried for the last 2 hours to get her to go to sleep you really don't care if putting her in bed helps her sleep. She used to sleep so good and then she got congested and hasn't slept the same since. The Dr said it is probably a habit now. I used to lay her in bed and she could put herself to sleep. Now she wants to be rocked and walked and when I lay her down thinking she is sound sleep, she wakes up. I will say it is getting better. She will have about 2 good nights and then a bad night. I thought that I was so lucky because at about 3 month she was sleeping 11 hours at night. Well at least we got a couple months of good night sleep. I

She likes the Christmas lights and decorations. We put her in front of the tree to take a picture but she wouldn't stop playing with the tree.

I am working on a stocking for Kaley (but haven't been motivated to finish it ). I will post a completed picture ( hopefully soon). I have been busy playing with my new embroidery machine. It is so much fun. I will post with some projects, I am still working on figuring everything out.
