Halloween

Kaley's first Halloween. We didn't actually go trick or treating but we did dress up and wait for trick or treaters. I was a little disappointed our neighborhood didn't have very many. Here is the little ladybug.

Kaley had her first bite of cereal on Halloween too. She loved it. She acted like she already knew what to do.
Dance Party in the garage. Tech won, its Halloween, and Kaley liked her cereal.

Beaumont

We went to Beaumont for the weekend. Kaley went to her first birthday party, she got to see the new and improved beach house, and visit lots of family.

This is cousin Melissa.

Here is Kaley with the birthday boy, Colby.

Mom M

This is the beach house. Thanks to hurricane Ike it had to be completely redone. There was nothing left.

You can see how wiped out it is. There are no houses around. Mom M's house used to be on the second row,but right now it is the first row.

Charlie the Cat liked meeting Kaley too. She grabbed a handful of his fur and he didn't seem to mind. He just enjoyed being petted/pulled.

New Trick

I have been doing my new trick all night-" I want everyone to see. Daddy was doing this to me earlier today and I thought it was so funny that I decided to try it myself. "

4 months

Kaley is 4 months now, she has not been to her 4 month checkup because we had to reschedule since we were out of town ( she goes next week). She can grab anything she wants, she sits up really good now, and she can even stand in her walker. She is very interested in everything going on around her. I cant get her to take her hands out of her mouth but cant really tell if she is teething. She can roll over really good from front to back- she always goes the same direction. She can also turn onto her side from her back but hasn't made it over to her stomach, probably because she still doesn't like to be on her tummy.

FUTURE Red Raider, cont.. traveling baby.

From Amarillo we went to Lubbock to visit Brennen and Tech. We ate lunch at Chimeys and then took pictures on the Tech campus. Brennen and Cole went dove hunting and Kaley and I watched from the car. The weather was beautiful so we really enjoyed being outside. We rolled the windows down and just played.
When we left Lubbock we went to Austin to pick up our dogs- Uncle Brant was watching them. Thanks Brant- unfortunately I have no pictures of Austin because we didn't get into town until almost 2:00 am and we left in the morning.

From Abilene we went up to Amarillo to see Nannie (great-great grandma) and Gammie (great grandma). We enjoyed our visit listening to stories from Nannie who is 100 years old. We went to Palo Duro Canyon during the day while Nannie was at a choir performance. Yes my 100 year old grandmother still sings in the choir. I enjoyed the canyon, the scenery and the animals. We stopped to use the restroom and there was a deer eating within arms reach of me, and some turkey too.

Traveling Baby

Well this past weekend we went to Abilene for a wedding. It was a beautiful outdoor wedding. It was a little chilly outside compared to our humid Corpus Christi. The wedding was out in the country and Cole locked the keys in the car ( listening to the game). We had to wait on the locksmith who had to drive about 40 minutes and then find the place. We did finally get the keys out. Gigi and Aunt Haley came to the wedding too. They helped take care of Kaley. They took her home around 9:00 so that Cole and I could hang out and dance.Cole got to go hunting with Preston, Haley's boyfriend, when we were in Abilene. Preston has some land in Abilene and was there the same weekend. We all hung out Saturday before the wedding.
